A team of reconnaissance rescuers journeys to the remote prison island of Albertachen and the Gollitok facility. Their mission, though they’re not completely clear for them what, exactly, it is: find out why all communication was lost with the island. In this post-nuclear-war novel, the team gets exposed to some type of hallucinogenic neurotoxin. This includes survey head Hammel Varka, nuclear historian, engineer, sergeant and liaison. Most of the reconaissance crew are in peril from something that is trying to exterminate all of humanity.

GOLLITOK is laden with enough detail for a reader to believe this place exists or has existed. How do you survive when your weapons are limited?
